Sobre esta atividade
Make your way to the meeting point in central Yangon to join your guide for your evening walking tour, which covers a little more than 1 mile (2 km) with plenty of stops for snacks, shopping and photo ops.
Start by strolling down bustling Shwe Bontha Street, where people sell secondhand goods such as electronics, gold jewelry, eyeglasses, books, clothing and more. Enjoy a moment of respite from the market as you check out a Buddhist temple and a Hindu temple on the way to Chinatown, and then stop for a refreshing drink — perhaps green tea at a local tea shop or fresh sugarcane juice from a roadside stall.
Nearby, enjoy great photo ops at a temple decorated with mythological scenes, and then continue cruising through narrow alleys full of boutiques and antique shops; if anything catches your eye, your guide can help you to bargain like a local. Next up, hit a roadside market on 19th Street where stalls are piled with fruit, vegetables, fresh seafood and local delicacies. Vendors work their magic cooking tasty nibbles on charcoal grills, resulting in all sorts of meats, veggies and marinades to sample. This is the hub of Yangon’s street food scene, with lots of outdoor seating and locals eating dinner.
Your guide will choose some favorite snacks and beer to share with you as you wind down your walking tour and hear about Myanmar’s food culture. You'll end on 19th Street, where you can remain on your own, if you wish.

Great food and tour guide Myat. It was Chinese New Year so great atmosphere. Tour finished with beer and BBQ food on 19 street, great evening
my guide for this Burmese market tour was peter win , who was also my guide for Yangon by circular train , the day before on this tour peter took me around several Burmese markets, tasting some local foods , before finishing at 19th street where Peter had some bar b q , food , unfortunately I wasn't felling to well, so had a couple off beers instead. while peter was eating , he was explaining to me all about local foods and traditions after peter left I stayed down 19th street , which is very lively with loads of bars etc
Mio took us on a 3 hour walking tour through the street markets and other great sights in Yangon. We walked past the different historical sights whilst tasting the local foods and ended up on 19th street for a delicious BBQ dinner and cold beers. Very worthwhile.
Myat was a brilliant guide - spoke great English and answered every question. Tour ended in a great market and the food and beer was terrific.
Felt we could have done this on our own as we are usually independent travelers, but it was fun to sit outside at the end of the tour and have dinner on the street with plenty of tasty Myannar beer,
Good tour.
I expected a bit more. I could have walked around on my own with Goggle maps.
went to different markets in Yangon and dinner at China town in the end, fun evening
