Historical Tour of Valencia with Paella

Tour guide: Andreas. Very knowledgeable wonderful guide. Valencia has so much to offer. This city is should be included in everyone's agenda doing the tour of Spain. It has many history, culture, unique designs and churches. Paella was nice touch as well. I am glad that I include this city in the 2 weeks visit of Spain.

We had a wonderful time on this tour. Our guide, Andres was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. We had a limited amount of time in Valencia and this tour provided a great amount of information. It was informative and fun. Would definitely recommend.

The tour guys was fine but took us to the best restaurant in town for paella from what he said but before leaving and after a 10 dollar top told us they did not have meat paella only seafood. We said how about those that do not eat seafood? His response was they have options and left. The waitress informed us that they only had seafood paella and was limited and how many were coming to have it we are a party of 8 and only 3 of us eat seafood. the other option for those that don't eat seafood and/or allergic had to choose a soup. I do not think that is acceptable especially at 12pm in the afternoon. My husband did not eat since they only offered pumpkin or lentil soup and he does not eat neither their menu options were not the best either. When the food arrived the rice was like if it was left over from the day before and we was a child serving size. We pick this tour because we thought we were getting a Valencia paella since they are know for it and that is not what we got. This has been by far the worst tour we have taken.

We were very pleased with our tour it was extremely informative and interesting. Our guide Andres was fabulous knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, entertaining, and able to answer every question. The paella lunch was delicious. We would highly recommend this tour.

We had a great experience. I was so surprised that our cruise line wasnt providing a tour that included sampling the famous paella for which Valencia is so well known. So we booked this independently. We had our guide all to ourselves. He walked us around the slik market, through the city market, around the lanes and roads. He was very well informed and did a great job showing us the history of the old town. As the tour was wrapping up, he showed us several places where we could extend our tour, like the church that holds the holy grail, the Roman museum, and the like. We made it back to starting point and had our paella lunch. What a great lunch! I thought the tour was cost effective, entertaining, and very enjoyable.

Andreas, our guide was exceptional. He was on time, very informative and kept the tour fun by asking us questions and dropping in funny little gems of knowledge. We covered a lot during the walk and we came away feeling we were more knowledgeable about this fascinating city. The tour enabled us to get our bearings, so that after lunch we could further explore the old town at our leisure. The Paella lunch was very welcome at the end of the tour, the hosts were lovely. Over all a very enjoyable way to spend a morning.

The guide was very knowledgeable and we were lucky that our tour was just myself, my husband and my son. I was relieved that they did not cancel the tour since it was only us. We had 12 hours in Valencia between flights and this was a nice overview of the center of the City with lots of history nuggets thrown in. Our guide then recommended that we spend a bit of time at the Science Center and we are glad that we did that as well. The cafe where we had Paella after the tour was very quaint, and the staff very helpful and accommodating.

Our Guide was great and was very supportive and able to respond well to all of our questions. He know the city that he showed us.
