This tour was amazing!
Stopped at a dormant volcano site for lunch. Great view. View of current active volcano from the site was obstructed by clouds. Local temple tours were interesting as locals were preparing for a religious festival.
This tour was a great way to see Ubud in a day. Our driver/guide was very prompt, and he was super-informative. We could ask him anything about local culture or history, and he was able to tell us a great deal. I enjoyed seeing the arts villages and being able to do some shopping for batik, silver jewelry, paintings, and carvings as gifts. I loved going through Ubud and seeing the shops along the way of different arts and crafts, and the beautiful rice terraces were well worth a good walk around. Being able to visit the main temples around Ubud was also amazing, as we were nearing the full moon festival. The traditional dance was a great start to the day, giving us a sense of the history and religion in Bali. The monkey forest was a wonderful way to round out a long day of touring, as those mischievous imps are interesting to watch. Overall, I really recommend this tour - the guide is wonderful, the transport is comfortable and ample for a few people, and the day can be tailored a bit to what you want to see within reason.
This full day tour packed a lot in, but was a great way to see all of the major and not super touristy parts of Ubud and around Ubud. Our driver/guide was AMAZING we cannot remember his name for the life of us - so Viator if you know his name please let us know!! He took great care of us, was super knowledgeable about Bali, and knew the answers to all of my many questions about the places we explored and experienced. We loved him so much that we coordinated with him directly to drive us to Jimbaran for the second half of our trip. Overall this tour was great, and if you don't have much time in Ubud you should definitely book this tour. If you have more time in the area, you could spread everything out over a few days.
We went to the rice fields, the elephant palace (no elephants), the Luwak coffee place, the waterfall and the monkey palace. We didnt go to the market as we were staying in Ubud anyway Our driver was always on time, and such a nice guy!
Thoroughly enjoyed our full day Ubud Cultural Day Tour. It was an early start visiting Batik and hand weaving factory, Baronga and Keris Dance, silver and gold crafting, painting and wood outlets, Pagang Tegal Village, Batuan Temple, Ubud monkey forest, Tegalalang Rice Terrace and Gua Gajah Elephant Cave under the guidance of our very knowledgeable guide Igd Tinaya. It was a wonderful experience only down side was was travelling back to Seminkay in all the traffic. Good valuable for money, but be prepared for a long day.
Amazing! There is so much to learn about Balinese culture. Our guide was very nice and very flexible with the itinerary.
