Tokyo Walking Tour
Tokyo’s most famous Shinto shrine, Meiji Shrine, is a welcome retreat from the frenzy of Tokyo. Soak up the serence atmosphere, write wishes on paper tied to the prayer wall, or watch a wedding procession glide past. Next stop is the city’s impressive Imperial Palace. Once the world’s largest fortress (though little of it remains), the palace is now home to the Emperor and Imperial Family. Whilst most of the building is off limits, the grounds and East Garden are a beautiful place to stroll. Afterwards, venture into the ‘center of Japan’ at Tokyo’s business district, Nihonbashi. A hub of shopping and dining, make sure to also walk over the area’s namesake, Nihonbashi Bridge.
Experience the quietly stunning beauty of Meiji Shrine built in the 1920s
Discover the mysterious past of the Japanese imperial family and glimpse the splendid architectural design of the palace
Stroll Nihonbashi, visit the famous bridge and soak up the prosperous atmosphere
