This was a really good tour if you are trying to see a lot with a little time. We saw a lot of interesting things even with it being a holiday. Jerusalem was beautiful and the guide had a lot of interesting facts and information. With the amount of people around and some of the locations it was difficult to hear him within all of what was going on. I would suggest staying close to your guide because it is very easy to get mixed up with other things going on and miss something. Overall this was a good beginner's guide to the city and I wish I had more time. The Dead Sea portion was nice as well. It was something to check off the bucket list. I think I would have liked to start there and then work our way back to Jerusalem. The company was great and answered questions that I had beforehand very quickly and professionally. Would use them again for another tour.
The perfect tour to experience Jerusalem and the Dead sea! I thoroughly enjoy the tour and the tour guide was excellent. The only thing that spoilt the trip slightly was the group size. There were 41 people and it was like hearing sheep. Constantly waiting for people! Having said that, I would highly recommend this tour!
Guide very knowledgeable and funny, American so no problems understanding him. Route was altered due to Ramadan, a little disappointing but understandable and he made up for it by visiting other sites. A couple delays due to people getting lost, but a couple people weren’t paying attention so it’s their fault. Stay with the guide and pay attention! Jerusalem and the Dead Sea are very hot during summer (90+ F) so be prepared.
It was a great day! Avishay was a great guide and explained with details many things about Israel. Excellent choice of tour if you don't have much time to visit the country.
Guide was knowledgeable and well spoken. Attentive to questions asked along the way. Enough time to enjoy coffee, shopping, and a dip in the Dead Sea. Highly recommended.
I was visiting Tel Aviv for business and had an extra day to explore, so I chose to take this tour. It did exactly what I was looking for – give me a taste of the Old City of Jersualem and of the Dead Sea so I know where I would return next time. Hotel pick-up and drop-off went smoothly. Lunch (which was not included) was delicious and well-priced. Our guide Avi was friendly and informative. I would recommend this tour to anyone with limited time in Israel who wants to get a broad overview of the main highlights.
The trip was great. It is a bit rushed for the Jerusalem part but that is because there is just so much to see. This trips gives you a great foundation for what to see in Israel and what to do for a future trip. The tour guide was great.
We took the day tour of Jerusalem and the Dead Sea. Highly recommend! It is a bit rushed as there is so much to see and learn, but we were on a short visit to Israel and it was all we could squeeze in. Our local operator was Bein Harim. The tour guide was knowledgeable and funny, drop off and pick up were easy.
Moti is a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and an excellent leader keeping the tour on track and providng the history of Jerusalem and the Dead Sea. Tour of Jerusalem and the Dead Sea was fabulous. Highly recommend it. The shop we stopped at in Jerusalem was over priced even though they claimed to give a 50 discount. I found the same souvenirs in other shops during the rest of may stay for 1/3 of the price in the Jerusalem shop.
You get to see everything that you want! It is a great tour and would happily do it again. It just felt that we were spending time in very specific gift shops and losing time elsewhere. Our guide wasn't the best that I've had, but sufficient for group travel. But worth seeing both sites.
Salig was terrific! great day trip. easy. hotel pick up and drop off. if you want an intro to old jerusalem, this trip has just the right amount of time there, and includes the Western Wall. then the adventure to the Dead Sea! Salig was very knowledgeable and shared really interesting information.
