We had the pleasure of being escorted by Adriano to see Pompeii and Sorrento, and it was a fantastic experience. He has a big personality, and an even bigger heart, which made our day. He was extremely passionate and shared his love of the land with us, and despite the negativity of other couple who joined us on the tour, Adriano made a great effort to make the best of the situation. Between stopping for coffee and breakfast (and a bathroom break) on our way from Rome, to singing on the return trip, and all sorts of little side excursions, he did a fantastic job. He is a great asset to the tour group, and we were thrilled to have him as our guide. As for the sights, bring sunscreen to Pompeii and watch your step. Bring an appetite for pizza, as the helpings at the Pizza University are massive. Bring a sense of adventure, for driving into Sorrento is perilous with other drivers, but know you're in good hands with your driver.
