Best of Rome - Pantheon - Trevi - Navona - Spanish Steps

Sobre esta atividade
The tour starts in Campo de’ Fiori, where (according to the time of the day) you can walk between stands selling fruit, vegetables, flowers, pasta and coffe.
In the evening this is also a perfect location for a relaxing drink sitted at a table in the square.
Then you move to Palazzo Farnese, one of the most impressive noble buildings of Rome. Today seat of the French Embassy to Italy, it has been partly designed by Michelangelo during the Renaissance.
Few people know that Michelangelo came to Rome the first time “invited” by a very rich Cardinal and he lived in his palace. You can enter Palazzo della Cancelleria and have a unique experience in Rome (most of the noble buildings today are closed to the visitors!).
The guide will lead you to Piazza Navona, the most beautiful, charmy and romantic square of Rome, where you can fall in love with Bernini’s Fountain of the Four Rivers or enjoy the “true Roman” atmosphere surrounded by street artists and musicians.
You will walk in front of Palazzo Madama (today seat of the Italian Senate) and reach the most mysterious and impressive building of the city center: the Pantheon. Built about 1900 years ago as a pagan temple (and then turned into a Christian church) the Pantheon shocks the visitors with its imposing granite columns, his unique self-standing concrete dome (the only one still preserved from the ancient world) and its oculus for the sun-light to embrace you. Raphael’s tomb is there and you can still admire his sarcophagus after 500 years.
A short walk will take you to St.Ignazius Church (with its unbelievable painted perspective on the ceiling), to Via del Corso (the main street of Rome) and finally to the most famous and gorgeous fountain of the world: Trevi Fountain. Here the guide will give you free time to take some amazing picture and throw the famous “coins in the fountain”.
Another short walk will finally take you to the “fashion district”, where the Spanish Steps will impress you with the most crazy life of Rome. Here is where the tour ends and where you can do the most crazy shopping of your life on the famous Via dei Condotti… or run away if you don’t want to spend all your money for a leather bag!!

We were very pleased with the quality of our guide; he was extremely knowledgable, courteous and funny. The tour stops were well-chosen and the explanations gave us a good understanding of life in those times.
Saw a lot of Rome in a short amount of time with this tour, and the guide was great. Not only do you see the must do places, the guide adds a deeper knowledge and understanding to everything.
This was a very inlighteng tour. Besides th main attractions we saw many places not normally seen and our guide gave us great insight into some many secrets of Rome. Outstanding guide.
Simone Lanna is amazing!! He is extremely knowledgable and passionate about Rome's history! He has the talent to convey that information to us in an easy and understandable way! Simone speaks great English, is patient, and willing to take the time to answer any questions!! He grew up in Rome and shared many side stories, too! Three hours flew by and left us wanting more! Wish we had booked our other tours with him, too! Next time we will! You will not be disappointed with Simone! Tour locations were wonderful, and gave us a good orientation of the city and an understanding of several landmarks! Highly recommend! Thank you for an amazing experience!
