Sobre esta atividade
Did you know that the Prague Castle holds the Guinness world record for largest castle complex in the world? The castle's buildings also once housed kings, holy Roman emperors and, since 1918, Czech presidents.
Your tour begins with an air-conditioned bus ride from the city center to Prague Castle. Your professional guide will share some interesting facts of Prague's history and most famous attractions with you before arriving at the castle's gates. Once inside, you can enjoy exploring the interiors of the castle and will see a variety of architectural styles including Renaissance, Baroque, and Roman as well as the Gothic masterpiece of St. Vitus Cathedral.
Next, your tour continues through the Royal Palace and Vladislav Hall to the Roman Basilica of St. George. You will also be able to enjoy a panoramic view of the Prague skyline from multiple locations within the castle grounds. Make your way down Golden Lane, which includes the former home of Franz Kafka and where, according to legend, alchemists from the Middle Ages tried to create gold and the Philosopher's Stone for Emperor Rudolph II.
Finally, your trip will take you through St. Wenceslas' Vineyards to end conveniently at Malostranska metro station on the Green "A" line, not far from Charles Bridge.

excellent tour. St. Vitas Cathedral is amazing. So beautiful. Our tour guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable. We were the only ones on the tour so it made for a very intimate and pleasurable experience. The behind the scenes stories that went with Prague Castle made the whole tour very satisfying. It definitely added to our appreciation of Prague Castle and Golden Lane.
Great in-depth tour, flexible enough for us to ask specific questions or to spend more time at certain stops. Guide easy to understand!
Very informative.
Really great tour, a beautiful building. One of the highlights of our trip
Our guide didn't interact much with us. We didn't have anytime to look around Golden Lane. The castle didn't have much to look at compared to other tours.
Long lines--not the tour guide's fault. However, he had to divide his time translating for a couple of other tourists and it really did effect the amount of information that was presented.
One of the best tours that we did in Europe. We had a great tour guide! She even went out of her way to send me a personal email with her Goulash recipe. She was very informative and knowledgeable in Prague's history and events. Thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would gladly do it again next time I am in Prague.
