Sobre esta atividade
The experience starts at the Starbucks across the street from the Oculus, the most expensive subway hub in the world. The tour also introduces FDNY Captain John Jonas and his team "the Dragon Fighters." There we'll continued to an overlook of the World Trade Center Memorial Plaza. From this vantage, one could see the entire complex which includes One World Trade Center, the Reflecting Pools, and the 911 Museum.
The tour proceeds to the World Financial Center. Here you learn about the little known Operation Aegis. The largest rescue by sea in history. Where over 500,000 civilians were evacuated by watercrafts of all sizes. Next we'll visit the reconstructed Winter Gardens, the $60 million 10 story glass pavilion that was devastated during the attacks of September 11th. Next we'll visit the Eleven Tears Memorial, dedicated to the eleven American Express employees lost on that day.
Concluding at the new World Trade Center complex, your guide will detail its design and construction. The guide will also cover the mystery of the lost gold and silver reserves of Building Four. In addition, you'll learn about the Survivor Tree, its resilience, survival and rebirth.
After your walking tour, those who chose the 9/11 museum option will be given tickets and escorted to the entrance of the 911 Memorial Museum. Guests are invited to stay until closing.
For those who chose the One World Observatory ticket option, you will be given tickets and escorted to the entrance of One World Observatory. Take the super-fast elevators up to the Observatory located on the 100th floor in under 48 second. During the elevator ride, you'll be watching a timeline transformation of Manhattan on HD monitors. At the Observatory, be astonished by the amazing views. On a clear day, 4 different states can be seen. Guests are invited to enjoy the Observatory until closing.

This was a touching tour of Ground Zero. Being a native New Yorker, I’m surprised that I still learn a lot about the events of 911. Our guide, Brendan, was extremely knowledgeable and respectful of the sacrifices made on the fateful day. He used large posters to help with his narration. It was a very cold day and I was glad most of this tour was done indoors. I highly recommend this tour for locals or visitors.
Our guide Andrew, highlighted the heroics of first responders during September 11th. We were extremely moved by these rescuers’ selfless acts. He used oversized pictures to narrate this historic event. One should definitely book this tour with Andrew.
I brought my family to NY to take this tour after having done the walking tour last year. I was completely disappointed, the guide was a very nice person but he was really lacking on information on most things from 9/11. I came to find out that this was a different company and was beginning to be concerned that we were being conned. He was unsure of the number of people that died, didn't mention much about the chapel or the FDNY 10 or much of value - to the point that I started asking him questions that we learned from a previous tour and he said I didn't have time to Google it. I told him to do his research because other tours might want to know. I would not recommend this tour to anyone, I am just sad that I couldn't access my old bookings from my phone because I would have booked the right tour.
Frank is an amazing tour guide. Very passionate regard every thing related to 911.Ours was basically a private tour, only 2 other persons join us. Very informative and very emotional. Will recommend this tour, specially to families with children that did not witness this tragic events or were to young to remember. Thanks Frank. WILL NEVER FORGET.
Frank was our tour guide and clearly puts his heart and soul into this tour! We really enjoyed his approach to the tour he told a story and was not just stating facts and the photos he shared from that day 9/11 were amazing. The focus on the firefighters and their journey was emotional, educational and impressive! We highly recommended this tour! Enjoy! Cheers from Boston!
We booked for our group including 5 teens as we wanted a personalized experience. Our local guide, Frank was amazing. His emotion-filled stories including loss of two best friends and photographs added so much meaning and hope. We highly recommend this tour that follows 6 firefighters on 9/11. POWERFUL!
This tour was amazing!! We all really enjoyed it, the guide was very informative and interesting, would highly recommended.
