Completely wonderful with very knowledgable guide (an actual architect). Also nice amenities on board: one free drink plus snacks. Highly recommend for anyone interested in circumnavigating Manhattan and learning history through architecture.
We had beautiful weather. It was a great tour whether you just want to circumnavigate Manhattan or learn about the beautiful buildings that make up the NYC skyline. Having an architect as the guide was a real plus. It was nice to enjoy an adult beverage and have a healthy snack during the trip. We learned a lot and got some great photos. I would do this tour again.
We had no idea what we were about to experience Wednesday September 18 1:3 . Our guide had boundless energy and information. Experienced Manhattan previously unknown. Highly recommend tour.
A real highlight of my trip to New York. A great way to see Manhattan, a different perspective and expert and really interesting commentary.
We had the best time on our trip around Manhattan! The boat was amazing and the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable of the buildings. Would do it again and recommend it to all our friends and family who are going to New York.
We've been on the architecture cruise a several times, with different friends, and learn lots more each time. The architects are knowledgeable, articulate, and full of information. Views from the boat are splendid, and the acoustics are state-of-the-art. Loved it, and will come back again. Even the snacks and beverages were great.
This tour is first class all the way. Excellent commentary! The yacht is beautifully maintained. Fantastic snacks and drinks. The most breathtaking views of Manhattan from every direction. This trip was extremely relaxing and enjoyable. It was one of the major highlights of my trip
Excellent tour. Architecture description was fascinating. Leader was very knowledgeable and articulate.. Viator is a terrible sales company. It's guarantee to match lower prices for the tour is a scam.
Everything about the outing was great! The yacht was comfortable and well appointed. The staff were attentive and cheerful. The speaker was informative and personal. The food was delicious. I would recommend this as a day outing to all.
This would have been a wonderful cruise had it not been for the groups of people who came on board for purposes other than enjoying an architecture cruise. One group was there to have a casual business meeting in a pleasant environment and the 10 of them carried on conversations both inside and later outside the cabin for the entire length of the cruise. They were impossible to escape. Another group partied loudly outside and so it was impossible to concentrate on the architect's descriptions or find a quiet spot away from constant gabbing. I asked an employee to remind them to be respectful of paying guests after the docent architect had done so himself. She smiled but did nothing. I spoke to her again at end only to receive another smile. I spoke to the architect and he said that after his first time asking guests to be considerate, it was up to the crew. Such a shame. The experience could have been so enjoyable, but I would not recommend this to anyone who really has an interest in architecture. It is pleasant if you just want to party and see the sights.
Super highly recommended! The boats are beautiful and super comfortable we went on Manhattan II, but we also saw Manhattan I at the pier and the best part, it was NOT crowded. There's a full bar and light snacks, the crew was great, even bringing drinks while we were outside. The architect who was narrating was very good and you can also hear him while being outside!

Fabulous very much worth the money - the speaker was wonderful and so were the refreshments. Would recommend it highly.
Certainly a step up from most water-based tours we've taken. Boat was lovely, drinks and snacks actually good. The architect (wish I could remember his name) spoke for the entire 2.5 plus hours (and the sound system was quite effective) and shared fascinating knowledge and history. didn't even use notes! We sailed around the entire island, and took in the sights of Governor and Roosevelt Islands as well. It was great to see the Statue of Liberty up close, pass by Ellis and Staten Islands, and enjoy going under the beautiful bridges radiating out from Manhattan. We'd recommend this tour to newcomers and natives alike! Susan U
