Great tour! The three of us loved it. We found all the information and sites to be very interesting. There is so much history in Manhattan! If you are a Hamilton fan, you will love it! Maria S.
Thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Chazz! Learnt so much about the history of Alexander Hamilton and more about the financial district of NYC!
I had some time before my flight home, and decided to book this rather last minute. I do love Hamilton but I'm always wary of themed tours that only talk about the musical (or movie or tv show) instead of all that NYC (or any other city) has to offer. After reading a few reviews, I figured this would have a good mix of history and tie in to the musical. I was very happy that the tour ended up being a good mix of American history, NYC history and Hamilton the musical mixed in. I loved how not only were we in the places where the real life things occurred but also a history lesson on what was real and what was 'artistic license'. It was a hot day, but it was a decent walking tour. It's great that it's with the little speaker thingies instead of us huddling around the guide trying to hear what he had to say. We could easily be looking at something else and still hear what he's talking about within a short distance.
Chazz is amazing with his knowledge of and ability to blend US History and all things Hamilton. Walking the streets of New York with Hamilton’s vantage made the musical and our country’s history that much more meaningful. This is a tour I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone .
Despite adverse weather conditions the tour was great. Our guide did an excellent job keeping us engaged in the history and music of Hamilton. Appreciated how he linked the past to the present.
It was fun to walk around and learn about the importance of Hamilton and NYC in the Revolution. The guide was knowledgeable and fun although the tour took longer than advertised because of the cold. My kids loved it. Their favorite part of our visit so far.
This tour is a must for all die hard "Hamilton" fans. Chazz is most knowledgeable and intersperses portions of the show with his narrative. So meaningful to see the places Hamilton, Burr, and Washington really were. This tour made images from the show really come alive for my 15 year old grandson. I highly recommend including this on your next visit to NYC.
Chazz is a GREAT tour guide: insightful, knowledgeable, humorous, and clearly passionate about all things Hamilton and NYC! I loved that he “put points on the scoreboard” for NY’s importance to the Revolution. I HIGHLY recommend this tour!
Our family of four (including kids aged 8 and 11 years old) had a blast with Chazz on this engaging and informative tour. We learned more about the play, New York, and US history. Just the right amount of walking vs standing, songs and stories. Would highly recommend to other Hamilton fans and NY visitors.
Enlightening and entertaining. The tour gave a greater understanding of both the history and the musical.
I loved the infusion of the historical facts with the perspectives of Miranda and Chernow. Chazz was highly organized. His system of of using radios and infusing the music made it so easy to hear every work in the midst of passing ambulences and honking horns. Made me want to learn more!
