Pompeia foi uma cidade que desapareceu do mapa e da memória das pessoas quando ficou completamente enterrada sob as cinzas do vulcão em 79 dC. Aquele dia dramático, em questão de poucas horas, parou as vidas de toda uma cidade agitada, que só foi desenterrada muitos séculos depois. Estas ruínas dão uma imagem incrível da vida cotidiana dos antigos romanos e seu ambiente urbano original: casas, lojas, afrescos, banhos termais, mosaicos e muito mais.
Há uma parada para uma oficina de Cameos e Corais incluída nesta excursão para que você possa aprender mais sobre esta antiga arte-artesanato, a qual a escola napolitana ainda é considerada de grande importância. Cameos em particular são conchas do mar esculpidas representando cenas de divindades mitológicas.

Continue a excursão até a Amalfidrive. Esta excursão irá levá-lo para uma estrada panorâmica de 30 km ao longo do CostieraAmalfitana, também conhecida como "faixa azul" (NastroAzzurro). Construída em 1832 pelos bourbons, esta estrada não mudou muito desde então. Ela se estende ao longo da costa das Montanhas Lattari, passando por uma série de pequenas vilas aninhadas nas rochas e consideradas entre as mais bonitas do Mediterrâneo. Habitada desde o século VI aC pelos gregos e anteriormente pelos indígenas locais, esta área compartilha principalmente a mesma história da vizinha Nápoles. Turismo, pesca e agricultura são a principal fonte de renda de os habitantes locais. Os produtos mais populares são: o licor Limoncello; os coloridos artefatos de cerâmica da escola tradicional do Vietriand, o famoso Cartad'Amalfi, um tipo exclusivo de papel feito de panos (linho, algodão e cânhamo). Todos os itens são vendidos pelas diversas lojas que estão disponíveis em Amalfi.
Durante a viagem, o motorista irá parar uma ou duas vezes nos pontos mais agradáveis para que você possa aproveitar a vista e tirar fotos. Em Amalfi você terá algum tempo para passear e fazer suas atividades favoritas, como fazer compras, ou simplesmente relaxar tomando um cappuccino. Positano será vista de cima, pois levaria algumas horas só para visitar esta vila, localizada no sopé da colina e acessível somente a pé.
Informações adicionais: o sítio arqueológico de Pompéia é completamente ao ar livre e a visita durará cerca de 2 horas a pé. Recomendamos o uso de sapatos e roupas confortáveis de acordo com as condições climáticas. Os ingressos normais não estão incluídos, pois a taxa pode variar em determinadas circunstâncias, como idade, nacionalidade e profissão, ou em ocasiões de eventos especiais e cartões de desconto. Até à data, o ingresso normal único custa 15 € em Pompeia. A visita às ruínas de Pompéia é liderada por um guia turístico com um mínimo de 6 pessoas. Had a great day, coach was a little late picking up but with Naples traffic it was expected. Tour guides were informative and helpful. Lunch was great and bonus ferry trip seeing the Amalfi Coast was the highlight of the day.

Well worth the price. This is a great company to takes tours from. Our guide was charming, knowledgeable, and delightful. They all have history degrees and have been studying the material for years. There was a ton of information, but we didnt feel rushed. Highly recommended!

4 Stars only because of the disorganization at the beginning of the day. We waited at the designated location, but had no information regarding what transportation to look for and no one came to gather us. Fortunately, one of the other couples waiting with us made a phone call and we ultimately got to the bus. From there we drove around picking up and dropping off people who were on same or different tours. All rather chaotic but ultimately things settled and we made an uneventful trip to Pompeii. There the organization was much better. Tour guide was fabulous and the sites were spectacular. Can't say enough about how well prepared our guide was and how professionally she managed our group, making sure everyone got the full service. Lunch following the tour was OK but not great. Also odd that drinks were changed separately, including water. I think the tour should make accommodation for water, coffee/tea, or soda. Reasonable to change for wine or beer. Following lunch we boarded a nice bus for the ride through the Amalfi Coast - Sorrento, etc. Sites were great. The ride on the

This was a great tour. It started out with a group of people going to Pompeii and a walk around the ruins. The only thing that was a little confusing was the guide spoke both English and Italian in our mobile speaker and it was sometimes hard to hear. The brothel area of Pompeii is a must see and our guide was sure to point out this area of the ruins. We then had lunch near Pompeii and left with our private driver to Amalfi Coast. Giovanni was wonderful and took us to a small non-touristy deli where we bought fresh mozzarella and antipasto. The coast was so beautiful and Giovanni was very informative.

The trip was amazing to cover 4 locations in 1 day with a good lunch. Pompeii, Sorrento, Positano and Almafi Coast. The views were breathtaking but we were given too little time to venture in the Almafi Coast. Would be much better if we have 2 hours instead of 45 mins in Almafi Coast.

The tour of Pompeii with Livio was fantastic. He made it very interesting and kept everyone engaged. The trip along the Amalfi coast was ok, although if you suffer from motion sickness at all like I do, you may be a little miserable. This was no fault of the driver or tour company, it simply is the topography. The scenery was beautiful though! Sarah the guide for the Amalfi portion was very informative and enthusiastic. Lunch was ok... pretty basic but fine
