Fantastic tour, great landscape. The guide was very professional and he was a very pleasant guy as well.
I was a bit apprehensive about spending so much on this day trip to Death Valley. But it was money well spent ... frankly I liked Death Valley much more than Grand Canyon. It was a small group of 6 people and our guide Franklin was simply amazing. He was knowledgeable and had a lot of stories and facts to share about a lot of things, not just about Death Valley. He made the whole trip much better.
Seeing Death Valley was extraordinary. Jack was a terrific tour director - very informative and interesting. He looked after us really well and we enjoyed the day enormously. One of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend.
The tour of Death valley itself was good. Guide/Driver gave lots of useful info. However, the bus was awful. It was very uncomfortable without much suspension, no seat pockets in the back of the seats to even hold your water bottles. There was not even a rubbish bin in the bus. After was had our box lunches we had to hang on to the garbage until a comfort stop just to dispose it off. There was also no rack above the seats to place our day back packs. It was very uncomfortable to carry backpacks in your lap for over 12 hours in a single day. While Death valley itself was great to visit, it was certainly not worth paying over $200 to this tour company for a sub par transportation and terrible boxed lunch.
A wonderful day trip to DeathValley. Ralph was a wonderful guide, imparting so much knowledge...historical, geological, and anthropological. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!!!
I thought Death Valley was one big empty desert but our tour guide Jack showed us the varied terrain. We only missed the National Park Visitor's Center because of the stupid Trump Shutdown of the government. The overflowing trash and nasty bathrooms are not the fault of the touring company. At least there were no fatalities in this park. Wow what amazing formations. The salt formations were amazing and the wild ride over the dirt roads in the hills was exciting. Be sure to book this if you have never visited Death Valley. We would have never found the out of the way places he took us to.
Ralph was a fabulous guide - he knew so much about the landscape, interesting stories related to the sites and even an overview of the region and history of Las Vegas.
An early start for this one but with a small group 13 people in this case. Breakfast, lunch and unlimited water being provided. Rest stops and viewing stops were plentiful. Ralph our driver was a star his commentary was fabulous explaining everyones questions...a true font of knowledge. First stop was at the Haunted hotel just before Death Valley which was interesting as was the Badlands and Zabriski point. Fantastic landscape there and colours. Then onto the Valley. First stop being the sea level marker then down we went. The Devils Golf Course being the first real stop there...wow. On to the Salt flats at Badwater Basin once again a great stop. Next was Artists Pallette before our lunch stop at the golf course. The visitors centre had a shopping opportunity for our daughter. More stops on the way back included a ghost town and the sand dunes. A final stop being a gas station on the way back the Area 51 Alien Centre. If your not doing that trip get your goodies here. All in all the best trip of our tour thanks to Ralph and the frequent stops...great if you have kids no are we nearly there yet comments. Five stars!
I really enjoyed the Death Valley tour with Jack our guide and Mike our driver. Death Valley is such a unique area and I was mesmerised by its other-worldly scenery. I would recommend the Death Valley tour. The only down side was the lunch which needed some salad.
