I enjoyed every minute of my day. Perfect timing to experience so much in one day. George our guide was very knowledgeable.and the Japanese lunch was yummy.
Main attractions tick. Make sure you bring enough water and go to toilets at attractions - there’s no stopping for anyone.
We really enjoyed the tour!! Its was kinda a hot rain weather, lots of walking and good places we went
The tour was jam packed and full to the brim with amazing temples and shrines. Our guide was June and he was fun and jnowledgeable about all things old and new about Japanese culture. I would recommend this rour to anyone who wants to see to see the world heritage sites in one day although don't go in the summer as it was dreadfully hot and by the end of the day we were shattered and exhausted...the aircon on the bus was a God send!!!
Very interesting. Our guide was very knowledgeable. Lots of information. May is the perfect time to visit
We can thank yurika enough, we had the best time, although is long day and a lot of walking we got to see so much and learn a lot from our warm and friendly guide yurika, thanks
This tour is just a money spinner for the tour company . You spend all day on the bus and not enough time at any sight . We got ten minutes at the Bamboo Forest and over an hour for lunch . The main temple we visited was covered in scaffolding and will be for up to 2 years . Tour guide was from Hong Kong and couldn’t answer loads of questions about local customs etc . A lot of people were angry on the bus as we could have seen more if we did it ourselves
Be sure to follow the meeting point instructions and definitely choose the lunch option. It was delicious and all ready for us by the time we arrived. The sights selected are the main highlights of Kyoto. I felt the time at the Fushimi Inari shrine was short, but if you give yourself an extra day or two to explore further, this trip is worth it. The guide was informative but not overwhelming with information.
This is an ideal tour if you have limited time. It ticks the boxes of the famous temples plus a couple more hidden ones which is excellent. Sami, our tour guide was very well organised and planned our day beautifully. My only minor criticism is that the lunch was of a poor standard. Thank you for this tour!
Enjoyed a tour and our guide was very knowledge and helpful. Osaka pick up place need to be more specified and easier finding. I had to make several phone calls to find out we were in a right place. Maybe for future to have a large sign posted.
Great tour of important Kyoto shrines. Tour takes the whole day, but packs a lot in. Definitely do the lunch.
the guide themselves were lovely but they didn't share an historical insight, it was essentially just transportation to and from each sight. very disappointing for the price you're paying!!
Quite satisfied with the efficient time deployed for this tour and certainly enjoyed the walks in the cold. It would have been difficult to cover the multiple sites on our own as timely as the tour. Good balance of "free time and organized tour activities.
This tour provided a coach that dropped us to several temples in Kyoto that reduced much travel time and walking distance that was good for a family with elderly. The tour guide, Sammy, was friendly, helpful and informative who gave us a relaxing and enjoyable day.
Despite the torrential rain, our guide June made the trip extremely pleasant. He was extremely helpful and friendly. I loved this tour because it covers the highlights of Kyoto, including the Bamboo forest (which a lot of tours don’t). I still had to take another half day tour to see Nijo castle and The imperial palace, which are not included in this one. Hopefully that would save you some time on your research.
Very Good experience. Our Guide June was very kind and understanding. He always tried to share information of different places which were not part of one day trip. Though it was very hot but trip was awesome. Thanks Japan Panoramic Tours
Easy going, paced well even for older tourist. Native English speaking guide. The lunch was OK, place was very hot, uncomfortable at times. Lots to see, wish we had spent more time at the Forest. We went on a Monday and the tour did not include the historic former palace as it is closed on Mondays, pick any other day. Worth the cost and time
