Stop At: Dayang Bunting Island, Langkawi Malaysia

Meet a driver at your hotel in Langkawi, then transfer to the starting point. Board a long boat for a fishing trip, casting your line over the water, then releasing anything you catch back into the environment.

The next stop of the day is Tasik Dayang Bunting, a name that means “Pregnant Maiden Lake"; legend has it that the lake has the power to help women bear children. With roughly 40 minutes at the lake, this is the perfect time for a cooling swim in the fresh water.

Stop At: Beras Basah Island, Langkawi Malaysia

From the lake, continue to an island that’s habitat for several birds of prey, including the white-bellied sea eagle and the Brahminy kite

Then head to Pulau Beras Basah for some time on the island’s white sand beach. Swim in the ocean, enjoy a barbecue picnic, and sunbathe with views of thickly-forested mountain scenery. If desired, you’ll have time to go snorkeling, take a banana boat ride, or try parasailing (extra activities own expense). This 5-hour boat tour concludes with drop-off at the original departure point.
