Sobre esta atividade
The tour begin at 9.30am with the meet up at the hotel and we move to the first destination which is main attraction of this tour, Mahsuri’s tomb (the site where Mahsuri died). The legend of Mahsuri supposedly accounts for Langkawi’s relatively ‘newfound’ success and judging by its increasing prosperity, the island has survived the curse then we will go to Gallery Perdana. This unique gallery was built to display and share with everyone the various awards, souvenirs and gifts the Prime Minister and his wife received from world leaders, statesmen as well as Malaysians during his tenure.
Next, we will proceed to Cenang Street. Along of Cenang Street you can have a walk at beachside, do some duty free shopping and you can find Underwater World which is one of the largest marine and fresh water aquaria in South East Asia.
Then we proceed to Eagle Square which resembles the symbol of Langkawi, where a 39-foot-high (12-m) eagle statue stands tall. If you’re intent on carting off duty-free alcohol, cigarettes and chocolate, then can stop for some quick duty-free shopping in Kuah Town.
Description
Mahsuri Tomb-Makam Mahsuri is a space in the legendary Princess Mahsuri and located at Kampung Mawat, 12km from Kuah, it is also known as Makam Mahsuri. Many natural attractions on the island have attached tales in the style of real English and Mahsuri the legend may be the most famous.
Cenang Street-Pantai Cenang is the busiest beach town on Langkawi Island, where you can find a diverse mix of cafes and restaurants, as well as souvenir shops, and duty-free outlets along its picturesque beach strip. Just a 10-minute drive from Langkawi International Airport, it’s a popular holiday destination for travelling families thanks to its kid-friendly attractions such as Underwater World Langkawi, Rice Garden Museum, and Kiki Club at Meritus Pelangi Resort & Spa.
Eagle Square-Dataran Lang also known as Eagle Square, Dataran Lang is one of Langkawi’s best known manmade attractions, a large sculpture of an eagle poised to take flight. A sight that greets visitors to the island via ferry, the 12 metre-tall statue is one of the island’s most instantly recognizable monuments.
Kuah Town-Kuah town, Langkawi is the largest city in the southeast of the main island. It is a place where one can see little traffic heavy as compared to beaches such as Pantai Kok or Pantai Cenang. Most importantly, it is a place where you can buy so many things. At Kuah, you will realize that duty free shops only and anywhere along the way and it is really what makes the city attractive.
When you leave the Kuah Town, your tour ended with the hotel drop-off.
