Your private driver will meet you at reception of your hotel at either 10:00 am or 12:00 pm depending on what time you decide to start the tour. After a one hour drive, arrive at The Kievan Rus Park, located in the Kopachiv village, which is about 30 miles (52 km) from Kiev. Once through the park's massive entrance gates, complete with watch towers, immerse yourself in the genuine medieval atmosphere, and explore what life was like here in the 10th - 13th centuries.

During a 45-minute tour of the park’s grounds, learn about the culture, history, and traditions of ancient Kiev. Inside the park, you will see a large stadium, which holds sporting tournaments and musical performances. Explore exhibitions of ancient weapons, armour, and medieval shipbuilding, and on weekends, watch ancient traditions come alive with equestrian performances, medieval sport, folk dances and national ceremonies.

During your 3-hours of free time, explore the park on your own. Enjoy traditional cuisine in one of the open-air cafes, participate in the various workshops or activities like: horseback riding, archery, or crossbow, or take a seat in the main stadium to watch one of the cultural performances (food, drinks and other activities are not included in the cost of the tour). Don't forget your camera and some spending money to take photos in traditional costumes, and purchase handmade souvenirs and gifts.

At the end of the day, your driver will take you back to the hotel at around 4:00 pm or 6:00 pm depending on your start time.
