Tra Nhieu Fishing Village Eco-Tour from Hoi An

Your guide picks you up at your hotel in Hoi An in the morning by bicycle, and you will ride to the pier to board a ferry for a 10-minute ride to Tra Nhieu Fishing Village. Upon arrival, continue riding your bike to explore true rural Vietnamese life.

Cycle down quiet village roads and shady paths, taking time to relax in tranquil green fields. You'll visit different villages to learn how products like wooden boats are made using traditional methods, and observe daily local life as you visit families who make rice paper and colorful woven mats. You can even try several traditional fishing techniques that have been used for generations.

Next, enjoy the chance to paddle a thung chai, a bamboo basket boat representative of the rural culture, and make your way past a bamboo bridge, all while soaking up the natural beauty of the water coconut marsh. Just before midday, enjoy lunch with a local family, and then make your way back to Hoi An via a 30-minute boat ride, where you can enjoy views of life on the Thu Bon River. Upon return to Hoi An, your guide takes you back to your hotel.
