My wife and I loved the Ring of Kerry tour. Tour guide John was funny, but not too over-the-top. He gave history and good information. We enjoyed the stops we made. As usual, they put you in a few gift shops but this road is crazy and you wouldn't want to drive it yourself. So sitting back and enjoying the sights was great for my wife and I. Thanks again.
On the whole very satisfied. The route is comprehensive and beautiful and is not excessive for one day. A couple of the stops were not so interesting though. The driver guide was easygoing and amusing. Full-size coach. It was still only Aprll and not crowded.
Our Ring of Kerry tour was fantastic! Our driver, John Butler, was wonderful and our stops along the way were great. Especially liked the Killarney National Park buggy ride. We had a beautiful sunny day as well.
Great tour to visit amazing places in one day if you are short on time. our guide / driver, John, was the best guide we could wish for, he gave us space to marvel at the great scenery without constantly talking, yet he gave us heads up and told us good stories ahead of our arrival. i found that great as most guides speak nonstop and sometimes it is too much. This one was the perfect dosage of storytelling and landscapes. We got to stop at amazing villages and spots along the way.
overall the driver (which was the instructor!) was nice as well as the views and the plan. I don't get why there are no toilets in those tour making companies, and also - why the usb outlets were faulty. In addition, I would suggest having less stops with more time in the main stops. but overall it was really nice
Excellent tour guide (Jim). He sang Irish folk tunes, kept us riveted with Irish lore and had an excellent understanding og the tour's highlights.
What can we say. Weather was amazing and the Tour from Cork was beautiful. Loved it.
Fantastic tour, visited lots of beautiful places in one day, saw some stunning scenery. Don't miss the Kerry Bog Village which is I think optional but really interesting and if you like animals they also breed rare Kerry Bog Ponies and Irish Wolfhounds there. The driver/guide knew his stuff and was thoroughly entertaining and very helpful. Would highly reommend this tour.
Michael was a great guide. I wish we had known that all of Kilarney was closed on Sundays and I would have booked differently but that is not the tour company's fault. Also, I wish we had longer than an hour to spend in Kilarney, also not the tour company's fault. Point being, if I had it to do over, I might stay a couple days in Kilarney and hit the hot spots of the ring instead of doing a bus tour that took the whole day, most of which was spent on the bus.
