An expert guide helps you to easily navigate the busy River North and Streeterville neighborhoods, as you discover the diverse history, architecture and culture of downtown Chicago on this 2.5 or 3-hour tour, depending on the season. Stroll through the main streets of Chicago which house a wonderful concentration of museums, restaurants and historic landmarks uniquely mixed with modern architecture, shops and art galleries. You’ll cross over Michigan Avenue and enjoy the majesty of the Magnificent Mile with historic landmarks including the Wrigley Building, Tribune Tower, the Chicago Water Tower. The duration of the tour is 2.5 hours during the winter months, December-March.

The tour was much better than expected! Not only was the food great but Terry was an absolute gem with so much information about Chicago. This was a fantastic tour and a great experience!

There were 7 of us and we all enjoyed the food and history tour. The food was either waiting or came very soon. Several places we were packed in like sardines but the food and experience was worth it . The guide encouraged everybody to have fun and that helped us interact with strangers in our tour.

The River North food tour was amazing. Luke, our guide was charismatic and very knowledgeable with Chicago’s history, charm and food origin. Each place was delicious, and perfect size portions for a walking tour. I highly recommend taking the food tour or any Viator offers. Well organized, easy to book and redeem, and great opportunity to meet people from all over. I will use Viator again for future bookings.
