Highlight of Chengdu Private Day Trip: Chengdu Panda Base and Cooking Class in Sichuan Cuisine Museum

Meet up your guide at your hotel lobby at 7:30am, and you will arrive at Chengdu Panda Base before 8:15am. In the morning, you will get the chance to see how the pandas eat breakfast, two or three panda nurseries,and see a short film in the panda's cinema. 

Head for the Sichuan cuisine museum.You will get the understanding of the history of Sichuan Cuisine, the cooking wares, and some other stuff. You will have a look at all kinds of processing tools, make chili powder with pestle from the Qing Dynasty, experience to make bean curd pudding with the grinding machine and taste delicious spicy or sweet bean curd pudding.

After that, it's the cooking lesson time! The chef who works at the museum will teach you to cook three typical Sichuan dishes, with a firsthand experience from Chuancai's cutting skills, control of heat, cooking process with some secret tips to presentation. You will be amazed about how easy it is and you can start cooking back at home right after this!

Now, feel free to enjoy the dishes have made by you own, the chef who works at the museum can also provide some advises about how to improve your skills if you want. Later on, take a picture with the kind chef as memory.

Your guide will show you around a farm market before heading back to Chengdu.You will be dropped off at your hotel by 17:00.
