Rock Arts and Old Baku

The tour begins at the Entrance Gates of Old Baku (in front of Gosha Gala Gapisi).

It will take approximately 45 minutes to get to Gobustan Undersky Museum (55 km).

You will be acquainted with:
• Museum Building - archeological exhibits, life style of Primary Humans in Gobustan.
• First House in the World - caves
• First Musical Instrument - Tambourine Stone
• First Kitchen of the World
• Rock Arts.

Stone Age and later inhabitants of the region carved their daily lifestyles on the rocks. History of First Habitants of Azerbaijan left after them such an authentic heritage. While visiting these points you will find yourself in Primary Humans Times. Playing on tambourine stone you can feel the first music notes

On the way back to Baku city visiting Bibiheybat Mosque which is witness of historic events.

The tour will start with a visit to the medieval part of the Old City, Shirvanshakhs' Palace, Caravanserai complex, Bukhara and Multani old mosques Gyz Galasi (Maiden Tower) which is the oldest construction of Baku under UNESCO protection. You will also see the old bath, narrow small streets, art shops and bench of handcrafts.
